Speaking about the Internet I cannot but mention one more notion that has been paving its way and settling in our daily life. I’m talking about e-learning and learning management systems which are meant to assist us in making the studying process easier and more enjoyable.

We live in fast-moving world that is why sometimes we are in a hurry to gain new technologies, new opportunities and knowledge to gain our aims.

It’s easy to predict that distance learning systems are the trend of future, but it really became more and more popular in our days. Online learning software and ideas are developing with a high speed. By the way, such rate is appropriate to any computer technologies. As soon as the computer connected to some project – the project develops rapidly. The same situation is in learning. Using effective learning software highly accelerates your studying process.

“University of Phoenix Targets Young Students Online at Lower Cost” , “New Online Summer School is a Hit With Wilson Students”, “State universities turn to online classes for funding” are common articles of education related news today. But what it really means? Why internet schools are growing? Will the paper books die?

Even if the student doesn’t use learning management system, he may advance studying with internet online services and other computer technologies. Finding foreign word in vocabulary takes much more time then using computer dictionary or online translating service. So the first point here is the speed, or the reaction latency.
